ADS Meeting Agenda
October 20, 2022

1) Call To order : Present are:

2) President Report
1. Clinics/Educational events – Four clinics planned for 2022. Completed the Olivia Lagoy-Wentz clinic, Lendon
Gray Zoom event, Cavaletti clinic and Lauren Spieser clinic in September. The Lauren Spieser clinic for
December has been posted and entries are being received.
(a) Discuss process for accepting riders into clinics. Item to remain for monthly update.
Is the membership aware of the requirements to be part of the riders working with the clinician
Addressed on marketing fliers, on ADS FB page during marketing and after clinic via feedback
forms.
2. Review financials for three shows and three clinics completed in 2022.
(a) See attached at end of this document.
3. Changes to the by-laws were adopted based on board vote in February. Need to move revised by-laws to the
ADS website.
(a) These have been posted to the website.
4. Process for implementing overnight stalls fee collection by ADS was discussed and finalized in September.
Are we set to collect increased stall fees (25.00) for the November show?
(a) Yes. – However, Jennifer will invoice those who need to pay additional
5. Member-at-large position has been vacated by Kerry Evans. Open floor to nominations for replacement for
this position, followed by discussion and board vote.
(a) Catherine Lambert nominated- Nominated by Jennifer Landers – she is willing to join.
(i) Motioned by Jennifer, 2nd by TL – passed by acclimation

6. Discussion of the ADS Educational Survey Results – Jennifer Landers – see attachment for overview
(i) 7707 T St conference area is available for use at any time – good has patio, tv, etc
(ii) Concern will the clinic fill with enough participants
(iii) Utilize the survey results to create clinic interest.

7. Update from Patty Carlson and TL Jumper – hosting ADS meetings with ADS members.
(a) We have had two discussions regarding this at this time. Due to current health issues for both of us,
we have not had a chance to pursue this formally.
(b) Jan- Feb – Fun, wine, food – after the holidays winter warm up.
8. Chronical of the Horse – Aislin being interviewed for Regional Championships
3) Secretary Report
a) Meeting minutes – Jennifer motioned and Anne 2nd
b) Membership status – no changes to the membership since the last meeting.

1. No new updates.

a) Next show on November 13 at Eloraleah. Carole Smith is show manager

1. Best GMO Amateur Photography award from USDF – Anne Tursky featured and Jennifer Landers
Photographer.

8) Year-end awards banquet for 2023.
a) Date March 4, 2023 and venue Goodwin Manor are confirmed.
