ADS Meeting Minutes
August 12, 2022

1) Call To order at 7pm. Present at the meeting: Sandra Thompson, Carole Smith, Anne Tursky, Joanne Homeyer, Rene
Pope and Kerry Evans.

2) President Report
1. Clinics/Educational events – Five clinics planned for 2022. Completed the Olivia Lagoy-Wentz clinic, Lendon
Gray Zoom event and the Cavaletti clinic. Two clinics with Lauren Spieser in September and December.
Item to remain for monthly update.
2. Changes to the by-laws were adopted based on board vote in February. Need to move revised by-laws to the
ADS website.
3. Post fees for overnight stalls for ADS events. Determine rate and add to fee schedules. Two changes to the
overnight and day stall fees were proposed after discussion:
(1) Overnight fee of 50.00 and barn provides shavings. Motion made by Carole, seconded by Joanne, and
passed.
(2) Day stall fee of 25.00 and barn provides shavings. Motion made by Carole, seconded by Joanne, and
passed.
(3) These fees will be added to the standard fee schedule and collected by ADS, and then passed onto the
barn. Changes will be implemented with the October 2 show.

3) Secretary Report
a) Meeting minutes – Minutes from the June show were reviewed. Motion made by Carole, seconded by Anne and
passed.
b) Membership status – not provided.

4) Treasurer Report
a) Financial Report – 1155.74 in Junior account. 11060.87 in the General account.

5) Vice President Report
a) Updates? None

6) Show Report
a) Next show on October 2 at Chatfield. Joanne Homeyer is show manager.

7) Web Master Report – None

8) Year-end awards banquet for 2023.
a) Date March 4, 2023 and venue Goodwin Manor are confirmed.
