ADS Meeting Minutes
August 17, 2017

1) Call To order 7pm – Sandra, Jennifer, Alexis, Kat, and Kerry present
2) President Report
a) General membership issues and feedback
b) ADS Member Committees for specific tasks
1. Committee to plan/execute ADS Member Clinic with a well-known clinician established and in-process. Kerry Evans is Board Member chair. See 8(b).
2. Committee to plan/execute Junior rider ADS Event. Joanne Homeyer is Board Member chair. Committee to be established.
3. Meeting with ADS members that are trainers (professional status with USDF). Status – Kat Cromer
c) Review ADS Bylaws
d) Planning a clinic for 2018 – first step –USDF grant application – for first half of next year; Jennifer will survey members (Survey Monkey); Sandra will research grant requirements
– Discussed potential for ADS fundraisers
– Discussed fees for schooling shows, compared our fees to other GMOs
– Create a list of “regular” volunteers for shows, add incentives for volunteering?
– Scheduled the dinner/forum with ADS member trainers: Sept. 25, 7pm, La Madeleine in Little Rock
3) Secretary Report – Will submit an annual report to Region 9
a) Meeting minutes – Motion to approve by Jennifer, seconded by Alexis

5) Vice President Report – Will get quotes for potential new insurance plan for 2018

3. Food Truck – Alexis – identified – on track for symposium
4. Status – completion

(3) Publicity – Jennifer – Will create online registration form for Symposium
