ADS Meeting Minutes

August 23, 2014

1)      Call To order – Meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm. ADS Board Members and general members were present at this Mid-Year Meeting. The meeting was held at Larry’s Pizza on Cantrell Road in Little Rock, Arkansas.

2)       President Report

Judy Dent, ADS President informed the members present of the following items:

• Instructor/Trainer Workshops, including information about grants and participation.
• Junior/Young Rider clinic planned for the fall.
• Update on the attendance/participation in the ADS schooling shows completed to-date.
• Recognition of Valley View Farm and their progress rebuilding after the tornado.
• Input from the membership regarding ideas for activities for adult amateurs.

3)      Secretary Report

• Meeting minutes – meeting minutes for the year-end meeting held in February 2014 were approved. Motion made by Eileen Krause and second by Danielle David. Motion approved.

4)      Treasurer’s Report

• Account balance was reported as 14686.00.

5)      Vice President’s Report

• Eileen Krause presented information about the clinician, Iris Eppinger, planned for the Junior clinic.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:00pm.
