ADS Meeting Agenda
December 8, 2022

1) Call To order Anne Tursky, TL Jumper, Carole Smith, Catherine Lambert, Jennifer Landers, Patty Carlson, Joanne

2) President Report
1. Clinics/Educational events – Four clinics planned and completed in 2022 Olivia Lagoy-Wentz, Lendon Gray
Zoom event, Cavaletti clinic, Lauren Spieser clinic x2.
(1) 2023 in the works.
(a) Saddle Fitting Educational Clinic and Dates??
(b) Riding clinic with Ashley Shaw. April 1 & 2 **four applicants so far.
(c) Other ideas in-process?
2. Update from Patty Carlson and TL Jumper – hosting ADS meetings with ADS members. Item to remain open
for update. 2/11 – 3-7 pm
(1) Trying to make sure the menu is open for all styles of eating (gluten free, vegetarian and ketovore
options).
(2) Menu – Brats & Burgers, wine, soda, water, etc (soft drinks are already provided).
(3) Side dishes provided
(4) Pie contest?
(5) Games to draw for gift cards, lotto tickets, etc.
(6) Door prizes ( Saddle pad, brush, etc)
3. Carole and TL to set the show dates for 2023, and show manager for each show. Progress?
Joanne will allow an additional show at her barn.

3) Secretary Report
a) Meeting minutes – Jennifer , Carole Smith
b) Membership status 35 members were on the roster to start the new USDF calendar year and 2 more added to
the roster for the drawing – Genny B won the Jr. Award and Ashley Martin won for the adult division.

4) Treasurer Report
a) Financial Report
1. Main account $14,748.67
2. Jr. Account – $1155.74
3. Includes – the November membership and the checks issued for clinic.
b)

5) Vice President Report
a) Saddle Fitting Clinic – status and discussion
1. Michelle Wadley – lecture and lab with sample fittings on a couple of horses
2. Admission – suggested a raffle for saddle fitting for a door prize for ADS members only.
3. Heated venue
4. Dates 1/21
5. Time – tbd
6. Appointments can be scheduled with Michelle – to be done at a later date
7. Carole to work up the items with details for Jennifer and to send by 12/15

6) Show Report
Show season 2022 is completed. Final Profit/loss was 3560.16 for the four shows.

7) Web Master Report
a) Putting out a save the date for the Winter Members Meeting @ T St. 4/11 – 3 to 7 pm

8) Year-end awards banquet for 2023.
a) Date March 4, 2023 and venue Goodwin Manor are confirmed.
b) Need volunteers to complete activities for year-end banquet.
c) Catherine Lambert will help with Silent Auction as well as TL.
