ADS is excited to announce Goal Setting with Reese Koffler-Stanfield.  This will be a virtual meeting where Reese will discuss setting riding goals for you and your horse.  We thank Hayley Baker for setting this up! It will be held on June 14 at 6:30pm via Zoom.  Please click the link below to register.  This meeting is open to any ADS member, free of charge, and really encourage our junior riders to attend.  We will need to meet a minimum of 20 participants to have the meeting so please take advantage of this educational opportunity! ADS is happy to present Understanding Animal Behavior Seminar with Cindy Martin.  This is a full-day seminar with instructor-led discussion, videos and info-graphics.  ADS is offering this seminar free to junior members and $50.00 for adult members.  The seminar will be held on January 12, 2019 at G&H Equestrian.  The registration form is below. ADS is very excited to offer this Ride-A-Test Clinic with Joan Darnell! This clinic will give riders an opportunity to practice the test(s) of their choice from Intro through Grand Prix, including US Eventing tests. Riders warm up as they would at a show, ride the test for Joan, and then have a mini-lesson to improve elements from the test before riding it again. Both attempts are scored and riders will receive both test sheets after their ride. This clinic is currently open to adult amateur and open riders only.  Presented on January 27,2019. ADS is very excited to offer this Musical Freestyle Seminar with Joan Darnell – USDF Continuing Education in Judging Musical Freestyles! Joan will present information surrounding musical freestyles in a classroom setting. This seminar’s curriculum and format is provided by USDF. Topics include music, choreography and judging. It provides a detailed judging criteria and is methodically helpful for judges, riders, and trainers to know how final scores are obtained. Joan Darnell is an excellent speaker and presents the material from a judge’s point of view.  This program counts for USDF L Graduate continuing education. Event: ADS Awards Banquet & Silent Auction...

The annual ADS Year-End Awards Banquet is coming up! It will be held on Saturday, March 31, at 6:30pm at the Embassy Suites. Banquet tickets can be purchased via the mail-in form below or by PayPal through www.arkansasdressage.org. They are $35 each and must be purchased ahead of time as we have to provide a head count for the dinner.  Tickets will NOT be sold at the door. Dinner will be catered, and there will be a beer and wine cash bar. And don’t forget about the silent auction (my favorite part)!
