Event: ADS Awards Banquet & Silent Auction...

The annual ADS Year-End Awards Banquet is coming up! It will be held on Saturday, March 31, at 6:30pm at the Embassy Suites. Banquet tickets can be purchased via the mail-in form below or by PayPal through www.arkansasdressage.org. They are $35 each and must be purchased ahead of time as we have to provide a head count for the dinner.  Tickets will NOT be sold at the door. Dinner will be catered, and there will be a beer and wine cash bar. And don’t forget about the silent auction (my favorite part)! If you have items to donate, please contact Joanne Homeyer at 501-580-9511. Event: “Ride-A-Test” Clinic at Diamond TR...

Diamond TR Ranch is hosting a “Ride-a-test” day on March  26th.  Each rider selects a test to ride which will be judged by Carole  Smith.  She will then do a mini-clinic with each rider to help them improve the test score.  Each rider will have about 30 minutes of judging/instruction. Have you ever heard or wondered about clicker training for horses? If so, this may be your chance to check it out. Let your horse discover that training with you is much more fun than being in the pasture with his buddies. Clicker training is communication between horse and rider/handler. Discover the “science behind behavior change and training.” Help your horse develop physical and emotional balance for performance, overcome fear and reactivity. Build a cooperative relationship with your horse. Explore “positive reinforcement”, the “next level” in horsemanship. This is an introductory clinic and demonstration in Central Arkansas.
